The Marshals Back in Glasgow

We look forward to The Wynntown Marshals making a very welcome return to Glasgow Americana.

Edinburgh-based Americana stalwarts The Wynntown Marshals were once described by Uncut magazine as a colonising the shadowlands between Tom Petty and Teenage Fanclub. This description sits more than comfortably with the band, who are happy to dial up the radio-ready power pop alongside their more rootsy leanings.

Glasgow’s vibrant music scene has a new spark in Magic Torch who will open up the show. Formed from some of the city’s most beloved indie outfits. Featuring Jack Cocker of The Sweetheart Revue, Jamie Houston of Attic Lights, and Rachel Mackenzie of The BMX Bandits, Magic Torch blend heartfelt songwriting with shimmering harmonies and a retro-tinged sound.
